The inspiration for this design came from the 1960’s American civil rights Black Panther Party; whose slogan was ‘All Power to the People’. Members of the party were people like the incarcerated Mumia Abu-Jamal and Imam Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin (formerly Rap Brown).
